There is no white triangle. Every pixel in the "triangle" area is the exact same color white as the rest of the background.
Your brain is performing modal completion. Because the "mouths" of the Pac-Man shapes and the angles of the lines all align perfectly, your brain assumes there must be an object blocking them. To make sense of this "blockage," it invents a boundary where none exists!
