🌱 The Photosynthesis Lab

Step inside a plant cell! Feed the chloroplast by adjusting the sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide levels to produce oxygen and sugar.

6CO₂ + 6H₂O + Light → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂
Production Rate: 50%
☀️ Sunlight 50%
💧 Water (H₂O) 50%
☁️ Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) 50%

⚖️ Limiting Factors

Notice that the plant's production rate is determined by the lowest input. This is called the Law of Limiting Factors.

Even if a plant has 100% sunlight and 100% Carbon Dioxide, if it only has 10% Water, its overall photosynthesis factory will be bottlenecked at 10%! Keep the inputs balanced to maximize sugar (glucose) and oxygen production.
